When creating a dashboard, you can filter based on specific populations: infants, children, teens, adults, older adults, LGBTQ, men, women, parents or caregivers, people with disabilities, and workforce. Populations are defined by the following:
- Infants: <1
- Children: 1-11 years or <7th grade
- Teens: 12-17 or 7th-12th grade
- Adults: 18-64
- Older Adults: 65+
- LGBTQ: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people
- Men: Men's health
- Women: Women's health
- Parents or Caregivers: Ways parents and caregivers keep the people they care for, and themselves, healthy and safe
- People with Disabilities: People with body or mind impairments; their access to support and services at home, work, school, and in the health care system
- Workforce: Health, well-being, education, training, employment status, and wages of the workforce
Please note: If an indicator measures all children under 18, the indicator is classified as children and not teen or infant. Teen and infant are used only if the indicator measures that specific sub-group of children. Similarly, if an indicator measures all adults over 18, the indicator is classified as adults even if it include adults over 65 as well. Indicators are only classified as older adults if they only measure adults over 65. If an indicator measures the entire population, no age group classification is assigned. Please refer to the indicator definition for information on the exact population described.
